How to get to the Bed and Breakfast Alegria by public transport or car

By public transport:
From the Swiss and French Railway station (SBB):
Leave the station in direction of the city. Upon leaving the station building head straight for the tram platform 1 (next to the pharmacist). Take the tram 1/14 in direction Dreirosenbrücke. At the 7th stop, Burgerfelderplatz, alight from the tram and cross th tram towards the Restaurant Al Giardino. After the supermarket Migros take the first road on the left. This is Habsburgerstrasse.
From the German Station (DB) :
As you leave the station you will find on the left the tram line 6, in direction Claraplatz. At the tram stop Barfüsserplatz alight from the tram. At the corner of the McDonald's Restaurant you will find the tram 3 stop in direction Burgfelder Grenze. At the stop Burgfelderplatz alight from the tram. After the supermarket Migros take the first road on the left. This is Habsburgerstrasse.
From Euro Airport:
In front of the airport is the terminal of the Airport bus nmber 50. The fourth stop is called n Kannenfeldplatz. There change for the tram line 1 in direction Bahnhof SBB and leave at the next stop called Burgfelderplatz. You will see on your right the Restaurant Al Giardino. Turn right there into the Burgfelderstrasse. Cross that road and after the supermarket Migros take the first road on the left. This is Habsburgerstrasse.
By car:
From Switzerland or Germany
Leave the A2 motorway at the exit BaselCity. Follow the signs towards Bahnhof SBB. When the road splits into two lanes, take the left lane, but do not turn to the left. This lane will take you down an underpass after a few hundred meters. When the road splits into two lanes again, take the left lane and follow the road until you reach Steinengraben. At the crossing next to the Spalentor, a distinctive city gate tower turn left into Missionsstrasse and follow the tram line until you reach a large intersection with a Denner shop on the left. Continue straight following the tram line into Burgfelderstrasse. After the supermarket Migros take the first road on the left. This is Habsburgerstrasse.
Our bed and breakfast is first and foremost for Basle Exhibition guests and for groups. Accommodation during other periods may not always be possible.
In all bedrooms and seminar rooms you will benefit from clean air because smoking is only permitted outside.
